Thank you for visiting my website! I am Lorraine Hornby - a Laguna Beach, California artist and Certified Gemologist. I have designed and hand-crafted all the jewelry you see here.
If you have questions about a piece or would like something not shown, please contact me. I am always happy to talk with customers and frequently do custom work. Although most of what you see on this site is sterling silver,
many of the designs could be made in karat gold upon request.
Artist's Statement
I most enjoy the process of designing a new piece: thinking about color, balance, texture, and form. I have spent many hours searching gem shows to find distinctive gemstones to include in my work. Each piece that I make is the culmination not only of this searching, but of the time spent imagining its many possible variations prior to creation.
